Joe Domingo Arzola Sr., 71, of Waco, passed away Friday, June 4, 2021. Joe was born on August 4, 1949, in La Estancia Durango, Mexico to Maria Dolores Arzola and Dionicio Arzola. Joe was one of six children. Joe was married to Maria Concepción Rodriguez and with this union they were blessed with three children, Imelda, Joe Jr., and Maria. In the 1970s, Joe moved to Waco, Texas where he raised his children and married Mary Lou Arzola. With this blended family, Joe was blessed with four bonus daughters, Becky, Sally, Debbie, and Laura and 12 grandchildren.  He later in life married a sweet angel on earth, Ester Arzola and with this union he was blessed with a son Josue Jonathan Lugo and daughter Ashley. Joe began his career as a general contractor and specialized as a heavy equipment operator. For the past 17 years, Joe worked for J&M Contracting Company where he traveled the Texas highways as a job foreman.
Joe loved watching his favorite football team the Dallas Cowboys, as well as, his favorite baseball team the Texas Rangers. Joe enjoyed playing baseball in his younger years and found a love for playing darts. He frequently played in dart tournaments and was well known by his opponents. Joe enjoyed fishing, grilling with his family, and being the life of the party.

Joe will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his daughter Imelda Arzola-Martinez (Pete Martinez); son Joe Arzola Jr. (Teresa Cortez); daughter Maria Arzola-Foster (Jarrod Foster); daughter Ashley Arzola; son Josue Jonathan Lugo; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, Maria Dolores Arzola and Dionicio Arzola, and his five brothers, Eustacio Arzola, Leopoldo Arzola, Francisco Arzola, Manuel Arzola, and Angel Arzola.
