Shirley Gilmore

August 22, 1937 — July 9, 2019

Shirley Jean Gilmore, of Waco, Texas, very peacefully passed from life with family by her side July 9, 2019 at 2:30 in the afternoon.

Graveside services will be held 11:00 o'clock a.m., Friday, July 12, 2019 at Waco Memorial Park, visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, July 12, 2019 in the Mausoleum Chapel at Waco Memorial Park.

Shirley was born to Loura and Elmer Miller on August 22, 1937. She lived in Waco for most of her life. The last two years she was a resident of West Rest Haven. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charley Hayes Gilmore, by her Parents, her younger brother, Allen Lee Miller and her stepson, Jerry Lee Gilmore.

Shirley is survived by her sister, Laura Faye Tackett of Arlington, Tx; her brother, Lonnie George Miller of Robinson, Tx; daughters: Billie Holloway and husband, John of Friendswood, Tx, Terri Anderson of Lufkin, Tx, Carolyn Stocker and husband, Troy of Grand Prairie, Tx; sons: Lester Gilmore and wife, Barbara of Bryan, Tx, Eddie Gilmore and wife, Kim of Hillsboro, Tx; stepdaughters, Sara Wade and husband, Bill of Bryan, Tx and Wanda Gilmore of Bryan, Tx.

Shirley has seventeen grandchildren, twenty four great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
