Beloved husband, father, son, brother, grandfather and friend, Raymond Smith, Jr., age 68, of Hewitt, TX went to be with the Lord Saturday, April 27, 2024 at his daughter's residence in Hewitt.
Raymond, affectionately known as "Pups" was born on November 28, 1955 to Raymond and Lena Mae Smith.
He will always be remembered for his outgoing personality, ability to help others, and his kind, tender heart.
Raymond was preceded in death by his wife, Karen Y. Smith; father, Raymond Smith, Sr.; brother, Anthony Smith; sister, Dianne Smith; and grandparents, Arthur and Betsy Smith.
He is survived by his mother, Lena Mae Smith; daughter, Kennicka Lee and husband, June; sons, Clifton Smith and Raymond Smith III; siblings, Donna Jordon, Donald Ray Smith, Tameka Smith, Linda Smith, Patsy Smith, Mary Helen Smith, Bessie Smith, and Leslie Meadows. Pups' greatest joy in life was spending time with his granddaughters, Brianna Smith, Madyson Lee, Carman Smith, and Samya Smith. Also left to cherish his memory are several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be at a later date in Camden, Arkansas, to be held privately amongst family.
