Paulma Lanean Cowdell, 89, of Waco, passed away peacefully on April 29, 2025, after succumbing to chronic kidney disease. The final three years of her life were spent in the loving care of her daughter, Tracey Daulton, and her grandson, Nick Daulton. She was indeed cherished.
Pam was born in Utah on January 3, 1936, to parents Orville and Mary Asthore Cowdell. She obtained an education in Utah before making Waco, Texas her home.
Pam was employed by AAFES Waco and retired after 28 years of dedicated service. She found joy in serving God, writing poetry, building puzzles, and nurturing her flower garden.
A celebration of Pam’s life will be held graveside at Waco Memorial Park on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at 11:00 am with Dr. Cary Killough officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 6, 2025 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Waco Memorial Funeral Home.
Pam was preceded in death by her parents, sister, brother, eldest daughter, and son. She is survived by her daughter, Tracey Daulton, her grandson, Nick Daulton, and distant relatives residing in Utah and East Texas.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the McLennan Community College Foundation.
