Moises Moreno Salazar, 55, passed away, Monday, January 3, 2023, in Waco. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00am, Thursday, January 3, 2023, at Waco Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park.

Moises was born December 24, 1967, in Col Felipe Angeles, Zacatequas to Ezequiel and Rebecca Moreno. He grew up in Los Angeles, California. He began work for Quality Craftsmen as a carpenter, where he worked for 9 years. He enjoyed playing tennis and cooking out.

He later became involved in Ministry.  He was a member of the Iglesia Evangelica Cristiana Espiritual, where he served as a minister, preaching the word of God to many.

Moises married Ma Del Socorro Alvarado in 2008 in Las Esperanzas and they were happily married for 14 years.

He is survived by his wife, Ma Del Socorro; sons, Esau, Isai, Natanael, Uziel, Moises Jr., Eluid and Besai; and daughters Eunice, Delta, Febe and Arely.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Iglesia Evangelica Cristiana Espiritual and all members who gave us all immense support.  They are also thankful for Waco Funeral Home & Cemetery.
