Maureen Ballard

Maureen I. Ballard, 69 of Waco passed away June 15, 2022, after a long illness. Graveside memorial service will be held Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at 10:00 AM at Waco Memorial Park.

Maureen was born January 5, 1953, in Ft. Worth, TX to Eugene Wilson Huntley and Ruby Elaine (Briant) Huntley. She graduated from high school in DeQueen, AR and later married Bradley Ballard in Waco on February 9, 1980. They shared 42 years of marriage together.

Maureen loved bowling, fishing, softball, and was an avid reader. She had 3 loving pets that she cared for deeply, her dogs Boo and Bear, and her cat Scooter.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother Gene Huntley.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Bradley; son Michael Scott Ballard; sister Kitty Sue Davidson and husband Travis; nephew Floyd Ballard and wife Missy; and close friends Gerald Bergen, Vickie Hernandez, Eric Houston, K.C. Stewart, Stanley Pimpton, and Marcus Clayton.
