Mary Tagle

Mary Tagle, 83, of Waco passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2024 in Waco. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at 10am at St. Francis on the Brazos Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 28, 2024 from 6pm to 8pm at the Waco Memorial Funeral Home. The Rosary will be recited at 6pm.

Mary A. Tagle was born to the late Romulo and Catalina Casarez, in Coolidge, TX on April 9, 1941. She married the love of her life Ramon C. Tagle on November 23, 1959. They were married for over 64 years. The Tagles were blessed with three children, Annette Gomez and husband Hector Gomez, Sr., the late Daniel Tagle, Sr. †, and Lydia Lopez and husband Albert T. Lopez. 

Mary was a loving and caring wife, daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. The Tagles have 13 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren. She loved Tejano music, dancing, and family celebrations. Her birthday celebrations were always extra special. 

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Romulo and Catalina Casarez; son – Daniel Tagle, Sr.†; brothers – Dennis M. Casarez, Vicente M. Casarez Sr.; sisters – Lupe Casarez Olinger, and Lucy Casarez Garcia. 

Mary is survived by her loving husband Ramon, her two daughters, Annette and Lydia, and siblings – Dominga Johnson, Pete Casarez, and Della Hernandez.
