Lori Ann Lovins, 57, of Lorena, Texas, died Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at Providence Hospital.
Lori was born on November 7, 1964 in Anchorage, Alaska to Bob and Elda McKenzie. As an Air Force child, Lori lived in many places, but was a long-time resident of McLennan County. Lori graduated from Robinson High School in 1983, spending many years in Waco and finally settled in Lorena with her husband.
In 1985, Lori met her future husband, William Lovins, at Mr. B's in Waco. William and Lori were later married in 1987, and just recently celebrated their 34 year anniversary. They enjoyed many date nights, dances, camping trips and casino wins.
Lori was an avid bowler in her 30's and 40's, and was a part of many leagues in the Waco area. As a lover of flowers, especially roses, she enjoyed being a member of the Morning Glory Garden Club and 4F. She loved playing the piano, spending time with her family and friends, and animals of any breed.
Lori was preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Elda McKenzie. She is survived by her husband, William Lovins; sister, Sheri Abbe of Lorena, TX; niece, Amanda Roberts of Fulton, MO; and nephew, Brandon Abbe of Waco, TX.
Visitation will be held Sunday, December 12, 2021 from noon to 1 PM at Waco Memorial Mausoleum Chapel with funeral services following at 1 PM. Interment will be at Waco Memorial Park.
