Lesa Duke

Lesa Ann Duke. 67 went to the Lord on Saturday, September 20, 2025. Her final days were spent surrounded by her loved ones by her side in Woodway, TX.  Graveside services and interment will be 1:00 PM, Monday, September 29, 2025, at Waco Memorial Park with Rev. Earl Cumbie officiating.  Visitation will be 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM Monday, September 29, 2025 at Waco Memorial Funeral Home.

 Lesa was born to Mary Alice Quinn and Jefferson Harrison Duke on April 18, 1958 in Waco, TX. Lesa was one of nine kids, she had six brothers, Donald, Billy, Larry, Claude, Wayne and Bobby. Two sisters, Janette, and Linda. Lesa is survived by sister Janette Mears, sister in law Pat Duke and brother in law Ben Howard. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and many more great nieces and nephews. Lesa was preceded in death by her parents Mary Alice Quinn and Jefferson Harrison Duke, six brothers Donald, Larry, Wayne, Bobby,Claude, Billy and her sister Linda Howard and sister in law Darlene Duke, Clemi Duke and brother in law David D. Mears Sr. Lesa loved the Lord and going to church. Lesa also loved watching old westerns especially those that had Audie Murphy and John Wayne. Lesa loved reading all types of books since she was a teenager. She loved her family and friends. She loved to travel, amusement parks and going to Las Vegas where her sister Janette family was stationed. Lesa will truly be missed. On September 20, 2025 we lost a loving sister and aunt and a friend, but Heaven gained a precious soul. Casketbearers will be Joey Mears, Leslie Murillo, Timothy Mixson and Jackie Mixson.
