Lena Jane Capps

Lena Jane Capps, 69, of Waco passed away peacefully from this life to be with the Lord on December 8, 2014. She was surrounded by her loving family. 

There will be a family inurnment on Monday, December 8, 2025 at 1:00pm at Waco Memorial Park.

Lena was born September 21, 1945 in Conroe, Texas to Henry and Edna Bullard Sumner. She was a retired hairstylist which she loved. She loved being with her family, her kids, grandkids and great-grandkids. 

Lena was preceded in death by her father, John Henry Sumner; husband, Noble Capps; son, Timothy Seale; and brother, Bobby Joe Sumner. 

She is survived by children, Sheila Ash, Theresa Campbell, Tami McLemore and husband, Lynn, Michael Seale and wife, Denise, William Capps and wife, Ericka; mother, Edna James; sister and brother-in-law, Pearl Carey and husband, Burt; sisters-in-law, Judy Boulter and Sherry Davis and husband, Tony; brother-in-law, Gary Capps and wife, Linda; 16 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
