Lana James Lowe

Lana James Lowe, loving daughter and sister, entered the Kingdom of Heaven in her sleep on Thursday, April 24th, 2025, in Lorena, TX.

Lana was born on August 1st, 2023, to Michelle and Kevin Lowe and joined her big sister, Meadow. Lana brought so much joy to her loved ones, often in the form of the world’s greatest bear hugs. Whether she was moving all the furniture around the house, wrestling with daddy, swinging with her sister, sticking her tongue out mischievously at mom after throwing ALL the diapers on the floor, mastering the tv remote way too early or attempting to climb into the dishwasher any chance she got, she was our energetic sweet potato. And we know she’s already unpacked every reachable cabinet in Heaven. Lana was full of life and her infectious smile and laugh would brighten anyone’s day.

She is survived by her parents Kevin and Michelle Lowe, her sister Meadow Rosalie, her grandparents Lidia Muñoz Garibay, Mike and Rolyn Garibay and Marilyn Lowe, her aunts and uncles Danielle Garibay, Jasmine and John Contreras and Michael Garibay, and many other family members who all adored her.

Visitation will be Friday May 2nd, 2025, from 5pm to 7pm and service will be Saturday May 3rd, 2025, at 11am. Both will be at Waco Memorial Funeral Home. Following the service, there will be a catered lunch provided on site.

Pallbearers will be Joe Escamilla, John Hammer, Aaron Johnson, and Michael Garibay. Carl Stovall and Dan Hermansen are honorary pallbearers.
