Kecha Rena Ewing

Kecha Rena Ewing, 47, of Woodway passed away Saturday, May 18, 2024. Her life will be celebrated Friday, May 31, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Waco Memorial Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be Thursday, May 30, 2024 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. 

Kecha Rena Ewing was born November 22, 1976, to the parentage of Kenneth and Elsie Ewing in Waco, Texas.

Her early years were spent in Mississippi where she attended school. She later attended Texas State Technical College in Waco. Kecha became a self-employed entrepreneur.

Kecha was preceded in death by her daughter, Dynasty Christina Ewing; her grandparents, Ida Mae White, Elsie Ervin, Catherine Ewing, Jimmy Ed Ewing, Sr., and DeLois Ervin.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories her parents, Kenneth and Elsie Ewing; her children, Shonti (Marissa) Ewing, Sr., Ulysses Estelle, Jr., Nathan Loyd, Jr., and Summer Curry; special friend, Clifton Curry; siblings, Dana White of Waco, Texas, Adrian Ewing of Houston, Texas, and Ervette Ewing of Waco, Texas; grandchildren, Shonti Ewing, Jr., John Ewing, Beckham Estelle, and Grace Ewing; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends in Texas and Mississippi.
