Karen Annette Arndt

Karen Annette (Young) Arndt was born August 23, 1956, and passed away May 15, 2025, at the age of 68 after a long strenuous battle with cancer. She is preceded in death by her father, Gordon H. Young; her mother, Elizabeth McKelroy Young; and her sister, Peggy W. Ethridge. She is survived by her husband of fifty years, Reuben J. Arndt Jr; her son, Chad Arndt, husband of Grace Arndt, and their children, Grayson Arndt, Gavin Arndt, Charlie Arndt, and Ethan Chapman. She is also survived by her daughter, Davanna M. Nealy, wife of Michael Nealy and their son, Michael Nealy Jr. 

Karen was loved deeply by her family and friends including the doctors, nurses and care team of Baylor Scott & White McClinton Cancer Center, who fought tirelessly alongside her to provide the best care she could have asked for during her long fight with cancer. 

A celebration of life gathering will be held Saturday May 24, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Waco Memorial Funeral Home in the reception room.
