Johnny Ray Schoff, age 70, of Eddy, Texas, formerly of Des Moines, Iowa passed away Saturday, December 9, 2023 at Olin E. Teague Military Hospital in Temple, Texas after a short illness.
Johnny Was born November 6, 1953 to William and Madge Schoff. After graduation from high school he joined the United States Marine Corp where he served for 10 years stationed in California, Hawaii and Vietnam. During that time he worked as a driving instructor and was part of the military police. Johnny was awarded several medals for serving his country.
He is survived by his wife, Verlon Reese Schoff; son, Mark Horton; daughters, Valarie Hill and MaDonna Horton; sister, Diana Brock; and nephew, Aaron Von Brock.
