Jerold Wartha

Jerold A. Wartha (Jerry), 81, passed away June 27, 2022 in Waco. A memorial service will be held at 10:00am, Saturday, August 6, 2022 in the mausoleum at Waco Memorial Park.

Jerry was born October 11, 1940 in La Porte, Indiana to Arthur J. and Mary Helen (Duke) Wartha. Jerry joined the US Navy in 1959, and proudly served until his retirement in 1980. After his retirement from the Navy, he worked for L3 until retiring in 2002. He was a longtime memeber of the Knights of Columbus.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; sister Mary Jo Lubs; and nephew Michael Scott Wartha.

He is survived by his brother, Mike Wartha and wife Kathy of McGregor, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staff at Ridgecrest and Hillcrest Hospice for the care they gave Jerry.
