Glenda D. West

Glenda West, 76, of Waco, passed away on February 6, 2024 surrounded by loved ones. A Celebration of Life Service will be 10:00 AM, Tuesday February 13, at Waco Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be Monday, February 12 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

Glenda was born August 21, 1947 in Waco, Texas to S.J.  and Nolia Curry.

She will be dearly missed as she was loved by many. Glenda was a caring, loyal, strong, and selfless Christian woman. She was an incredible mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and cousin.

Glenda was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Helen Park and Mildred West; and brothers, Charlie Curry and James Brasier.

She is survived by her son Adam West and wife, Tonya West; son, Mark West; sisters, Aline Morris, Linda Park and Mary Falteisek; grandchildren, Mandi West, Brooke Park, Hunter West; and her great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers are Dwayne Park, Gary Park, Robert Park, Steve Park, Joey Brasier and Paul McDaniel.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Glenda’s name to Renew Church or Highland Baptist Church.
