Debora Jean (Spears) Stewart
Debora “Debbie” Stewart passed away after an arduous fight against COVID-19 on January 2, 2022 in Waco, TX. She was born on June 25, 1959 in Oklahoma City, OK, the youngest of three daughters to Lloyd & Shirley Spears.
Debbie married in 1977 to Dave Stewart for 39 years. She gave birth to a son in 1979 & a daughter in 1982. She was a very loving, caring and active mother/grandmother to her children and grandchildren. Debbie had a passion for baking, which she made a career of. Each member of her family thoroughly enjoyed each and every holiday for they knew they would be partaking in her delicious baked goods. She also had a passion for turtles, tortoises & animals in general.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister Kaye Crain of OKC, OK.
Debbie is survived by her son, Dustin Stewart & wife, Kris Ward, of Valley Mills, TX and daughter Melissa Stewart, of Mart, TX; grandchildren, Mikayla Jowers, Dustin Stewart Jr, London Stewart, Cheyenne Landy, Alannah Holman and Taylor Holman, great grandson, S.J. Perry, sister, Cheryl Wilson, aunt Linda Allen and a number of nieces and nephews.
A memorial and special gathering will be held from 4 PM to 7 PM, Saturday, January 15, 2022, at the Marlin Volunteer Fire Department at 3172 SH 6 N in Marlin, TX
