Clyde Mitchell Buro, age 67, passed away on July 24, 2026. He was born on July 27, 1958, in Waco, Texas, to Herman J. Buro, Jr. and Ruth Lemke Buro.
After graduating from the University of North Texas, Clyde built a career in property appraisal. His strong work ethic began years earlier in the grocery industry, where he helped open a Safeway store in 1976. In 1993, he joined the McLennan County Appraisal District, where he faithfully served for 32 years before retiring in September 2025.
On June 22, 1985, Clyde married the love of his life, Angela "Angie" Pavelka Buro. Together they shared 41 wonderful years of marriage and built a loving family.
Clyde had a deep love for the outdoors, a passion he shared with his family through countless camping and fishing trips. Whether around a campfire or on the water, those moments created lasting memories that his family will always cherish.
Clyde is survived by his devoted wife, Angie Buro; his sons, Jeffrey Allen Buro and wife Alicia, and Adam Jacob Buro; his sisters, Elaine Jackson and Judy Pursche; his brother, Dale Buro and wife Kathy; his brothers-in-law, Rick Pavelka and wife Vicky, and Robert Pavelka; 10 nieces and nephews; and his beloved fur babies, Cooper and Teddy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman J. Buro, Jr. and Ruth Lemke Buro, and his parents-in-law, Richard A. Pavelka, Sr. and Kathey Adams Pavelka.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to his niece, Kimberly Almaguer, RN, for the compassionate care, love, and support she provided during Clyde's illness. Her kindness and dedication will always be remembered with deep gratitude.
A Celebration of Clyde's Life will be held on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Renew Church, 6509 Bosque Blvd., Waco, Texas.
Clyde's legacy lives on through the love he shared, the family he cherished, and the countless lives he touched. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
