Carlos Guajardo

Carlos (Charles) Guajardo of Waco, TX, formerly of Modesto, CA.

Charles passed away October 5, 2021.  He was born in Pflugerville, TX to parents Enrique & Victoria Guajardo.  Charles joined the United States Army at age 18 to serve his country.  He was stationed in Germany during the Korean War as a Staff Sergeant.  Immediately after his Honorable Discharge, Charles set his sights on California, where he met and married his wife.   Together they raised 6 beautiful children.

Charles is preceded in death by his parents and brothers Gilbert and Richard.  He is survived by his wife Lourdes and children Sonia Belo (Emanuel); Hector Guajardo (Catalina); Alma Rudi (Jim); Patricia Farmer (Mike); Xavier Guajardo & Charles Guajardo (Veronica); 14 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, Brother Tony and Sister Elisa.

In the mid-90s Charles made the decision to go back to his original home state and settled in Waco, TX.  In his later years, travelling, visits with family, coffee & lunches with fellow veterans, and listening to country music were some of the events he enjoyed.

Arrangements are underway for a private Catholic mass and burial in Waco, Texas.
