Bonnie Williams

June 17, 1920 — October 17, 2021

“Bonnie” Louise Williams left this physical world on Sunday, October 17, 2021 at the age of 101 years old to join many loved ones who have gone before her.

Bonnie was born on June 17,1920 as Bonna Louise Casey, the 7th of 10 children born to Effie and Hillard Casey in Rogers, TX. Over the years she became known as Bonnie but her mother, Effie, made it clear to her that she was the only child out of ten that her mother named herself and that her real name is Bonna! She was known most of her adult life as Mom, Memaw and Aunt Bonna.

Bonnie was widowed at a young age when her young husband, Tommy Parker, died in an accident. They had one daughter, Bonnie Eudoris Parker.

Bonnie was later introduced by her dear friend, Mary, to Mary’s brother, Walton C Williams. Bonnie and Walton were married on December 6, 1943 and were married for 63 years until Walton’s passing. They had one son, Walton Charles Williams, Jr. Walton Sr. was devoted father to both Eudoris and Charles equally all their lives with the family residing in Waco, TX.

Bonnie was a devoted mother, homemaker, sister, daughter, aunt, memaw and friend to many. Bonnie was a fabulous cook, her home always a welcoming place of comfort and hospitality to family and friends. If you visited Bonnie’s home you were going be welcomed with open arms and you were going to eat and eat well! She was a woman of strong Christian faith, spreading her loving light to everyone she met and showing unconditional love for her husband, family and friends.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, Hillard and Effie Casey, by all nine of her siblings, by her husband, Walton C Williams Sr, by her son, Walton Charles Williams Jr and his wife Betty, by her son in law James Campbell as well as by many friends and loved ones.

Bonnie is survived by her daughter, Bonnie Eudoris Campbell, by five granddaughters and their husbands, by 13 great-grandchildren, by 17 great-great-grandchildren and by multiple nieces, nephews as well as great and great-great nieces and nephews.

Whether she was your Mom, Memaw Bonnie, your Aunt Bonna or your friend Bonnie, she will be deeply missed, fondly remembered and lovingly held in our hearts always.

Bonnie L Williams will be buried beside her husband, Walton C Williams at Waco Memorial Cemetery on Saturday, October 23, 2021 following a funeral service at 10a. There will be a visitation on Friday, October 22, 2021 from 6 to 8pm in the Waco Memorial Chapel.
