Bessie Collins

Bessie Lenora Harvey Collins, 91, of Robinson passed away Friday, July 5, 2024. She was born July 4, 1933 in Waco to John Wesley Harvey and Bertha Izora Murphree Harvey. 

Bessie was preceded in death by her husband, Clark T. Collins; parents, John Wesley Harvey and Bertha Izora Murphree-Harvey; sons, Dale Cardwell and Steve Cardwell; sisters, Lucille Ducas and Velma Mallory; brothers, James Coston Harvey, Leonard Ray Harvey, John Wesley Harvey, Jr, and Bobby Joel Harvey. 

She is survived by her sons, Ted Jaynes of Huffman, TX and Michael Cardwell of Aubrey, TX and her twin sister, Jessie Poindexter of Burleson, TX.

A memorial service will be Monday, July 29 at 12:00 pm in the chapel of Waco Memorial Funeral Home. Lunch will follow in the Reception Center.
