Amado Garcia

Mr. Amado Garcia, 78, of Waco, passed away Friday, December 15, 2023 at Baylor Scott and White Hospital in Temple with his brother, Emmanuel, by his side. He will be laid to rest Thursday, December 21, 2023 at 10:00 am at Waco Memorial Park.

Amado was born to Guadalupe and Cristobal Garcia in Port Arthur, Texas. He was nine of fifteen siblings: Mary, Eulalia, Gloria, Cevero, Cristobal, Jr., Lupe, Joe, Juanita, Emmanuel, Yolanda, Linda, Experanza, Raymond, and Roy.

He had three sons, Amado, Jr., Danny and Gabriel. He joined the US Army and was discharged as a PVT-E4, HOOAH!! After retiring from the Army, he found his passion driving for the Waco Transit System.

He was preceded in death by his beloved Christina Robles.
