Johnny Richards, Jr.

John LeRoy Richards Jr., 55, passed away October 1, 2022, in Waco, Texas. A memorial service will be held at 11:00am, Friday, October 7, 2022, at Waco Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel, 6623 S IH 35, in Waco.

He was born October 18, 1966, in Waco to John LeRoy and Edna Benton Richards. He grew up in Waco and Salt Lake City, Utah. He graduated from South High in Salt Lake City, Utah in 1985. After high school, he attended college at Weber State in Ogden, Utah. John married Alexandria V. Lopez in 2017 in Waco, Texas and they were happily married for five years.

John is survived by his mother, Edna Brummell; father, Johnny LeRoy Richards; children, Taylor, Xavier and Jordan Richards; wife, Alexandria Richards; sisters, Edwina Jackson and husband, Reginald and Patience Richards; brothers, Robert and Stefan Richards; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
