Wilma Harrell of Waco, born August 1st, 1917 in Pidcoke, Texas passed away October 10, 2014. Graveside services will be held, 1:00p.m., Friday, October 17, at Rosemound Cemetery. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at Connally Compton Funeral Directors.Wilma was raised in Turnersville, Texas. She was a graduate of John Tarleton College (now Tarleton State University) majoring in music. She later attended business school and had a long career as a bookkeeper. Wilma worked in the family business, Waco Farm Machinery, until the mid-1960s, and then worked for Newman Rentals until her retirement in 1988. She was active in ABWA, American Business Women's Association and was a member of First Presbyterian Church.She is survived by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
