Wayne B. Mosley, 77, passed away September 5, 2012 at a local hospital surrounded by family and friends. He was born in Axtell, Texas to Arthur and Ada Mosley, June 19, 1935. He graduated from Axtell High school in 1954 and in 1958 he graduated from Sam Houston State University with a BS in Agricultural Science. On October 8, 1960 he married the love of his life Cynthia and to that union they had two children.Over the years he received a certificate in behavioral studies, worked as an Inspector for the Potter/Randall County Health Dept. and retired from the TABC. He held Deaconships at Greenfield Acres, Bethany, Mt. Calm, Axtell, and Olive Branch, Baptist churches. Wayne lived a fun filled life. He loved rodeos, horse shows, and going to old time gospel singings. He was teacher, a school board member of the Axtell school district, served as a foster parent and was involved in various civic affiliations. He was preceded in death by his parents, granddaughter Cynthia Jean Crocker and niece Diana McMahon.He is survived by his wife Cynthia, children Beverly Crocker and husband Kenny of Axtell, Arthur Mosley and wife Dianna of McGregor, and Dennis Hahn and wife Brittany of Abilene; Sister Wanda McMahon of Waco; Sheila Dobelbower and husband John of Woodway; Grandchildren Cecil, Stanton and Lauren Mosley, Kenneth Crocker Jr. and Makenzie Hahn; and numerous nieces, nephews, a Great-Niece, cousins, and friends.Donations can be made in honor of Wayne Mosley at First National Bank of Bosque County for Operation Christmas Child; please make checks payable to Wayne and Cynthia Mosley.Visitation will be Friday, September 7, 2012 from 6:00 P.M to 8:00 P.M.Services will be held at Connally Compton Funeral Directors Chapel Saturday, September 8, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. A reception will follow services at Olive Branch Baptist Church in the Fellowship Hall.
