Walter Owen Engleman, Sr.5/17/1942~2/23/15Walter “Butch” Engleman was born to Chris Leroy Engleman, Sr. and Gladys Cleo Hill in Pasadena, Texas. He attended school in Deer Park. Butch and Lilly Beal were married Dec. 16, 1960 in Deer Park, Texas. To this union were born three children; Sophia Ann Engleman Blust, Walter Owen Engleman, Jr., and Stephanie Jean Engleman England.Butch served in the United States Army, United States National Guard, and United States Navy Reserves. He retired in 1992 from Texas Utilities. His hobby was gardening.He was predeceased in death by his parents, a sister, and his son, Walter.He is survived by his wife of 54 years, his daughters, Sophia of Sugarland and Stephanie of Arizona; grandchildren, Dusty Hixson of Sugarland and Hilery Jean Beeman of Arizona; sister Margaret of Pearland and several nieces and nephews.A private burial will take place at Waco Memorial Park.
