He married Jeanne Wyche on March 31, 1942 in Comanche, Texas. They have been residents of Waco since 1947 when they brought the Roto-Rooter franchise into Waco and began York's Septic Tank Service. In 1942, Mr. York became one of Jehovah's Witnesses and has since served faithfully furthering the good news of Gods Kingdom. Everyone who knew him viewed him as a kind, loving, and hard working person that would do anything in his power to help them. He conducted his life and business in an honest manner with only a handshake needed. Words cannot describe the love and admiration his wife and entire family feel for him. The twinkle in his eye and kind smile will be missed by all. We look forward to the fulfillment of John 5:28, 29 when we will welcome him back by means of the resurrection our God Jehovah has promised.
