Virgie Lea Ludwig, 90 of Waco, passed away Sunday, December 27, 2020. Graveside service will be 2 PM Monday, January 4, 2021 at China Spring Cemetery.

Virgie was born on November 22, 1930 to Henry and Emma (Conrad) Buro in China Spring, Texas. She was a longtime resident of Waco. Virgie attended school in China Spring, Texas. She worked as a day care worker for 10 years. Virgie was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Waco. She is preceded in death by parents, daughter, Helen Ludwig, brother, Buddy Buro, sisters, Mable Weaver and Esther Ivy.

Survivors include her daughters, Patsy Smith and Husband, Roger of Valley Mills, Peggy Holcomb and husband, Jim of McGregor, son, Jimmy Ludwig of Waco, 5 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
