Victoria Chavez passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 15, 2026.
Born on March 6, 1957, in Waco, Texas, to Helen Chavez and Domingo Chavez, Victoria lived a life that touched many hearts. She was truly one of a kind — known for her contagious laugh, quick wit, unforgettable humor, and the playful teasing that could light up any room. She spoke her mind with honesty and strength, loved deeply, and carried a heart of gold.
Victoria had a special love for working on mechanical systems, especially cars, and took great pride in staying active in every way she could. Even through disability and life’s challenges, she faced each day with determination, strength, and resilience.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Helen Chavez; her father, Domingo Chavez; her sisters Dolores Resendez, Betty Chavez, and Herminia “Minnie” Salinas; and her son, Jasper Chavez.
Victoria is survived by her son, Harvey Livingston II; her brother, Richard Chavez; her sister, Ernestine SiFuentes; her brother, Thomas Chavez; her grandchildren, Celeste Livingston, Ciara Chavez, Brianna Chavez, Harley Livingston, Serenity Livingston, Harvey Livingston III, and Ezra Livingston; her great-grandchild, Juan Jasper Romero Chavez; and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws.
Victoria will be remembered for her fierce love, her beautiful spirit, her sense of humor, and the way she cared for her family. Her presence will be deeply missed, but the memories she leaves behind will live on forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
