Ulas "Uncle Son" Jones, Jr. 94, passed away Friday, July 1, 2022 in Waco, Texas. Graveside service will be Thursday, July 7, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Waco Memorial Park in Waco. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at the funeral home.

Ulas was born on April 14, 1928 in Clifton, Texas to Ulas, Sr., and Callie (Hewett) Jones. He was a longtime resident of Bosque County and McLennan County. Ulas married the love of his life, Geneva Taylor in July 1977. They celebrated 20 years of marriage. He worked at Cameron Mills as a production work for 35 years. He enjoyed Antiquing old cars, tractors and coins. Especially, he enjoyed raising cattle and spending time at his home place. Ulas was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Marsha Renee; wife, Geneva Jones; four brothers and four sisters.

Survivors include his sister, Patte Hahn of Robinson; nephew, Rodney Holmes of Waco, niece, Pamela Gallagher and husband James of Robinson, numerous nieces, nephews and host of extended family.
