Trine Ramirez, 89, of Waco passed away Wed Jan 11, 2012. Services will be 6 pm Sun, Jan 15 at Connolly Compton Funeral Directors. The family will receive friends for visitation at the funeral home one hour prior to service time. No burial service will follow. Trine was born July 31, 1922 in Lott to John Ramirez and Luciana Granada Ramirez. He worked at Elite Café for many years. After retiring he enjoyed doing yard work. He was preceded in death by his parents, several siblings, his wife Tomasa Ayala Ramirez, and a step-daughter, Gloria D. Garcia. Survivors include his longtime companion, Elena Reyes and her daughter Irma Casillas of Waco; step-daughters, Beatrice Chavez and husband Sotero of Waco, Hopie Perez and husband Pascual of Houston; step-sons Mike Dominguez and wife Susie, Daniel Dominguez and wife Mona; sister Julia Ramirez, niece Gloria Garcia, nephew, Lupe Ramirez all of Waco, other nieces and nephews of Austin; step-grandson, Gabriel "Pastor G" Dominguez of Waco, and several other step-grandchildren.Trine was a very loving person and will be greatly missed.
