Thelma Jean Raines, age 91, went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, January 24, 2012.Graveside Service will be held on Friday, January 27, at 10 AM at Oakwood Cemetery with Pastor Ben Mauldin officiating. Family will receive friends at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors from 6-8 PM on Thursday, January 26, 2012. Thelma was born on November 1, 1920 to Rolla Harned and Beulah Parkhurst Luse in Salem, Indiana and graduated from High School in Salem. She Married Eldon Raines on July 10, 1994 in Waco. Thelma has lived in Temple for seven years. She is preceded in death by her parents, Rolla Harned and Beulah Luse; four brothers,Raymond, Harold, Merrill and Leroy Luse. Thelma leaves behind her husband, Eldon Raines of Temple; Daughter, Jeanne Ann Patterson and husband, Arlie of Lubbock; son, Stephen Forrest Haley and wife, Delores of Corydon, IN;Daughter, Alice Joan Bynum of Mexia; son, Daniel Lewis Haley of Ross; 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; brother, Paul Luse of Bloomington, IN.
