Ted Patrick Swift, age 86, passed away on Sunday, December 12, 2021 in Clifton, Texas. A memorial service will held on Tuesday, December 21, 2021
10:00 a.m. at Grace Memorial Baptist Church with Edward Davis officiating.

Ted was born on June 23, 1935 to Barney W. and Maddy Glindolia (Riley) Swift in East Saint Louis, Illinois. He was a former resident of Odessa, Texas. Ted served in the United States Army from February 1955 to February 1963 and 1965 to 1970 during the Vietnam War. He married the love of his life, Karen Ann Pruitt in Odessa, Texas. They celebrated 49 years together. Ted worked for Coastal Chemical as a truck driver 12 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Ted was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church in Odessa and Grace Memorial Baptist Church in Clifton. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Bill Swift.

Survivors include his wife, Karen Swift of Clifton, son, Roger Dale Swift of Abilene, daughters, Diana Rose of Abilene, Amanda Inez Naverette of Odessa,
step-sons, Hiram Lester Matthews of Waxahachie, Jackie W. Matthews of Clifton,
eight grandchildren, brother, Ricky Dean Swift of Odessa, sister, Annsiylee Brooks
