Russell Euin Ballard, 86, passed away November 29, 2015 in Waco, TX.Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, 11:00a.m., December 2, at Connally Compton Funeral Directors Events Room. Private family Burial will follow the service in Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service.Russell was born March 11, 1929 to Guinn E. and Addie (Griffin) Ballard in Wharton, Texas. After Russell was born, the last of child to the union, the family moved to Waco where he lived the rest of his life.He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Cleo Hays, Evelyn and Sissie; brother, Charles and nephew, Bryan Hays.Survivors include his niece, Cleo's daughter, Gwen Mills; her children, Kelly Mills, April Stone, and Larice Long and her husband David; Bryan and Helen's four boys, Matthew, Phil, Paul, Sean and several other relatives.Russell will be deeply missed by all who knew him, especially his niece, Gwen, who was there for him always.Arrangements under the direction of Connally-Compton Funeral Directors, Waco, TX.
