Ruby Lee PattersonApril 10, 1935 ~ May 5, 2010 Ruby Lee (Picha) Patterson, 75, of Speegleville, passed away Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at her home after a courageous battle with pulmonary fibrosis and colon cancer. Services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 8, 2010 at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors Chapel with Pastor Su Milam officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, May 7, 2010 at the funeral home. Ruby Lee was born April 10, 1935 in Otto, TX to Frank and Felia Picha. She graduated from Marlin High School, was a member of First United Methodist Church of Waco and retired from American Income Life Insurance Co. She loved to cook, sew and work crossword puzzles. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Frank and son, Gary. Those left behind to cherish her memories are her loving husband, D.C. Patterson; daughters, Brenda Ballew and husband, Darrell, Crystal Patterson; sons, Donald Patterson and wife, Jennie, David Patterson and wife, Tonya; sisters, Helen Brezina, Mary Bailey; brother, Marvin Picha and wife, Glenda; 13 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and other relatives.
