Robert Henry Johnson, Jr., 74, of Waco, passed away Friday, March 25, 2022 in Waco, Texas. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 7, 2022 at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at the funeral home.

Robert was born on March 22, 1948 to Robert Henry, Sr. and Pearl Lorine (Long) in New Haven, Connecticut. He was a Southside legend and truly one of a kind. His greatest legacy was his family; especially his children and grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter-in-law, Lori Gail Gutierrez Johnson, grandson, Robert Elijah Nathaniel Johnson, granddaughter, Cinnamon Kashmire Unique Johnson, and cousins, Tim and Gary Long.

Survivors include his wife, Debra Johnson of Waco, daughters, Sugar Johnson of Waco, Candy Johnson of Waco, Kim Dotson of Alvin, Crystal Kirkpatrick of Waco, Heather Ann Yarborough; sons, Bobby Wayne Johnson and wife, Brandy of Dayton, Jason Welch and wife, Michelle Brock of China Spring, Eric Salazar and wife, Michelle of Waco, Robert Eric Brandon Johnson of Waco and Keith Yarborough of Waco; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a host of friends.
