Richard Clinton WadleJanuary 15, 1938 ~ March 23, 2007 After an extensive illness, Richard Clinton Wadle, 69, of Pearland, passed away on March 23, 2007. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Tuesday, March 27, 2007 at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors Chapel with the Rev. Jeff W. Fisher officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. He will be ready for viewing on Monday with no formal visitation. Richard was born the son of Raymond Clinton and Adlie Jane Kimbrough Wadle in Mexia, Texas on Jan. 15, 1938. He finished his master's degree at Baylor and worked on his doctorate at Florida State. Richard met and then married the love of his life on August 22, 1964 in Waco. Retiring in 2006 after 43 years as an aerospace engineer with NASA, Richard's last assignment with them was in the space station program office. A 40 year hobby of raising and showing pure bred dogs was evidenced by Richard's membership in the T.C.A. (The Poodle Club of America) and The English Toy Spaniel Club of America. He was also a member of Palmer Memorial Episcopal Church in Houston. His parents preceded him in death. Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 42 plus years, Patricia L. Wadle of Pearland, TX; brothers, Paul Wadle and wife, Joyce of Waco, TX and Allen Wadle and wife, Alicia of Arlington, TX; nephews, Ray and Brad Wadle; and niece, Jana Sanderson.
