Mr. Raymundo H. Cardona, 87, passed away Saturday, December 14, 2019 in Elm Mott on his ranch, where he loved to be. Funeral service will be 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at Connally Compton Funeral Directors with Reverend Rick Aguilar officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 an hour prior to service time.

Raymundo was born March 15, 1932 to Zerapio and Josephina (Holguin) Cardona in Mexico. He was a long time resident of Waco. Raymundo was a factory worker and a rancher. He married Trini DeLeon in Waco and they were together for 45 years. He enjoyed ranching and spending time with his family and all of his grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, and son.

Survivors include his sons, Mark Cardona and wife, Cara, Arturo Cardona Montes, Jose Luis Cardona Montes, Celso Cardona Montes; daughters, Alicia Cardona Montes, Maria Concepcion Cardona Montes, Maria Isabel Cardona Montes, and Patricia Aurora Cardona Montes; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
