Phillip E. Geisler, 36, passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2003. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM, Saturday, February 1, 2003 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Overland, Missouri with the Reverend Rodney Wise officiating. Burial to follow at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery in St. Ann, MO. Visitation with family and friends here in Waco will be at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors on Wednesday, January 29 from 6 to 8 PM. Visitation with family and friends will be at Ortmann Funeral Home, 9222 Lackland Road, on Friday, January 31st from 3 to 9 PM. Phillip E. Geisler was born on April 19, 1966 to Phillip Raymond and Carol Ruth Geisler in Beeville, Texas. He graduated from Ritenour High School in St. Louis, MO in 1984, and attended Flo Valley College for 2 years. Phillip married Denise Lynn Myers on April 20, 1991. They became parents to Zachary Austin in 1993. Phillip worked as a Technical Publications Illustrator on the E6 programs for L-3 Communications for 13 years to present. He was intensely involved with young people, acting as Little League and high school umpire, high school football referee, umpire in 2002 World Series Junior Little League and Cub Master for Pack #476. In addition to his wife and son, Phillip is survived by his parents, Phillip and Carol Geisler, sister, Erin Geisler, brother, Bryan Geisler & wife Kathy, grandmother, Ruth Rischert, parents-in-law, George & Reba Myers, niece & nephew, Alexi & Austin Geisler all of St. Louis, MO and grandmother, Elda Geisler of Cuba, MO. Memorials may be made to the Little League Headquarters.
