Pat Doyle LillardJune 24, 1930 ~ May 21, 2010 Pat Doyle Lillard, 79, of Waco, passed away Friday, May 21, 2010, in a local nursing home. Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, May 24, 2010 at Waco Memorial Park with Pastor David Cozart officiating. Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m., Sunday, May 23, 2010 at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors. Pat was born June 24, 1930 in Hill County, TX to Allie Forrest and Irene Elizabeth (Higginbotham) Lillard. He married Barbara Jeanette Ballard on February 6, 1951 in Waco, TX. Pat was a farmer for many years and retired after 35 years from the Texas Highway Department Bridge Gang in June of 1992. Pat was preceded in death by his parents; loving wife of 59 years, Barbara Jeanette Lillard; sister and brother-in-law, Jackie and Marvin Burrow; and son-in-law, Milton Parrish. Those left behind to cherish his memories are his daughters, Janet Lee Lillard of Waco, TX, Sandra Dodson and husband, Allen, of Sugar Land, TX, Barbara Parrish of Waco, TX; grandchildren, Angie Gillingham and husband, Carl, Brad Dodson and wife, Tricia; and great grandchildren, Joey Huddleston Gillingham, Braden Dodson and Ashlyn Dodson.
