Pam married her soulmate, Rex (Lindy) Powell, Jr. on April 20, 1979. One of her most cherished memories was celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary with family and friends on the Brazos Belle River Boat in 2004. Pam was a dedicated and baptized Jehovah's Witness. She was a zealous member of the Central Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses where she participated in the Theocratic Ministry School and conducted numerous Bible studies. Since August 2002, Pam served fulltime in a worldwide voluntary Christian ministry. Pam was employed at Jay's Jewelers on the Richland Mall where she found great joy in sharing her expertise and knowledge while helping thousands of customers make the "perfect" selection. Previously, she was an aerobics instructor and interpreter for the deaf. Pam was an energetic, fun loving, adventurous person who never met a stranger. She will always be remembered for her delightful sense of humor, her "contagious" laugh and her deep love for family and for Jehovah God. Pam was a loving wife and mother, a devoted daughter, a doting grandmother and a loyal sister and friend. Her father, Henry Scott and grandparents, Jeff and Rosie Watson, preceded her in death. Survivors include her devoted husband, Lindy (Rex) Powell, Jr; four loving sons, Charlie Donnell Shaw (Anna), of Waco; Reginald Shaw (Renea), of Austin; Christopher Darrell Shaw of Fort Worth; Lindy Rex (Trey) Powell, III; and one loyal daughter, Nikki Dione Powell both of Waco; two sisters who dearly loved her, Patti Thomas of Temple; and Rosie Bean of Waco; thirteen grandchildren, Mariah Shaw, Keannan Booker-Shaw, Zakaree Redrick-Shaw, Charlee Shaw, Amaya Shaw, Ariah Barrientez-Shaw, Kastiahn Barrientez-Shaw, Demetria Rager-Shaw, Mya Rogers, Nehemiah Shaw, Laxeviera Shaw, Miranda Shaw and Jeremiah Shaw. And a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and spiritual brothers and sisters. The family would like to express special thanks and appreciation to Providence Health Center and Providence Hospice; the Richland Mall Management staff, Jay Pandya, devoted friend and owner of Jay's Jewelers; Central and East Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses; and Jackie and Albert Haliburton of Houston, TX.
