Obituary

Nickolas Alden FadalDecember 6, 1983 ~ October 11, 2008 Nickolas Fadal, 24, formerly of Waco, went home to be with our Lord on Saturday, October 11, 2008 at a hospital in San Antonio. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 16, 2008 at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors Chapel with the Rev. Ted Tsitslianos officiating and burial to follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation with family and friends will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Wed., Oct. 15, at the funeral home. Nickolas Alden was born to Harvey Fadal, III and Cynthia Lattimore Fadal. Nick graduated from China Spring High School in 2003. He enjoyed playing golf, loved to bowl, and was most comfortable outdoors. Nick never met a stranger and lived his very short life with gusto and to the fullest. He was a loving son who enjoyed spending time with his family, and was so much fun to be around ~ how we'll miss him! Preceding Nick in death were his grandparents, Harvey Fadal, Jr., Frances Fadal, and Mary and Ernest Garcia. Left behind to mourn his loss are Nick's father, Harvey Fadal, III and wife, Virginia of Waco; mother, Cynthia Fadal and step-father, Ed Ely of Natalia, TX; sisters, Sarah Rutanen, Renee Cluke and husband, Alan, Cynthia Audet and husband, David, Jamie Romero and husband, Esteban; brother, David LaValley; grandfather, Sam Lattimore; aunts and uncles, Diane Issa and husband, Nizam, Danny Lattimore and wife, Gayle, John Lattimore and wife, Nancy; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be David Audet, Alan Cluke, Frankie Cluke, Ed Ely, David LaValley and Deryk Lindsey. The family requests memorials be made to the American Heart Association.
