Nelta M. Osment Slater of Waco, Texas died 11-13-15.Memorial services will be held 3:00p.m., Sunday November 15, at the First Baptist Church of Hubbard with Pastor Ricky Woodall officiating.Mrs. Slater was born August 16, 1921 in Hubbard, Texas to parents Lonnie R. and Della (Bailey) Osment. She was active in many service organizations. Nelta was preceded in death by her husband, Downey Slater.She is survived by one daughter, Deborah Slater Moore and husband Bobby of Temple; grandson, Chase Moore; sisters, Barbara Dean of Riesel and Katherine Pirelo of Waco; and numerous nieces and nephews.
