Nancy Belcher Pickens, 87, passed away December 4, 2017 Wesley Woods Rehabilitation Center.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00p.m., Friday, December 8, at Billington Cemetery in Axtell, Texas. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, December 7, at Connally Compton Funeral Directors.
Nancy was born September 13, 1930 in Morgan, Texas to O.D. and Wilma (Wintz) Belcher. She married Joe Pickens on March 1, 1949. She retired from the US postal service. Nancy enjoyed crossword puzzles, gardening, and watching the Andy Griffith Show. She also loved animals, cooking and reading.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, two sons, and three brothers.
Survivors include her daughters, Margaret Linam, Sally Gilleland and husband David, Susan Bass, and Patricia Ritter and husband Barry; 13 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
