Mildred B. Morris, 90, passed away November 24, 2013.Funeral Services will be held 10a.m., Saturday, November 30, at Connally Compton Funeral Directors Chapel. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. A visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, November 29, at Connally Compton Funeral Directors.Mildred was born December 1, 1922 in Caddo Gap, Arkansas to Largus and Vergie Brown. She moved to Mount Calm as a young child and graduated from high school there. She married the love of her life, Floyd Morris, August 28, 1944. Her husband, son, John and Marcus were the lights of her life. Mildred worked at Graham Embroidery for many years. She was a charter member of Brookview Methodist Church and present member of Cogdell Methodist Church. For the last year and a half she resided at St. Elizabeth's Assisted Living. She will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her. Mildred joined several senior dance groups after the death of Floyd. She enjoyed her dance nights.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four sisters and one brother.She is survived by son, Danny Morris and wife Marcia; two grandsons, John and Marcus Morris; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
