Michael Van Webster, Sr., 52, of Waco, departed this life on Friday, July 16, 2004 in Houston. Funeral services will be 12:00 PM Saturday, July 24, 2004 at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors Chapel with Reverend Carrol L. Hambrick officiating. Interment will follow at Waco Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, July 23rd from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.Michael was born October 17, 1951 in Omaha, Nebraska to Joseph and Helen Webster. At a very young age he moved to Waco and was raised by his grandparents, Everett and Virginia Webster. Michael met the love of his life, Joyce Hill on November 12, 1974 and they celebrated 29 wonderful years together. He was a member of St. James United Methodist Church. Michael was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, sister, Debbie Yancey of Omaha, Nebraska and his beloved cousin, Marlon Webster of Houston.He leaves behind his loving wife, Joyce Hill Webster, sons, Toby Hill and Michael Van Webster, Jr., daughters, Lesa Phillips and Kristie Thibodeaux, son-in-law, Gary Phillips, daughter-in-law of heart, Sally Brown, mother-in-law, Myrtle King, sisters, Maureen Webster-Burnell (Jerome) of Austin, Mona Webster (Clarence) of Waco and Cydney Holly of Minneapolis, Minnesota, brothers, Joseph Jr. of Indiana, Michael of Omaha and Donald Ray of Oakland, CA, grandchildren, Jace Henson, Cody Rivas, Alyssa Jade Phillips and Heaven Lee Dean, uncle, Frank Webster (Carloyn) of Houston, aunt, Ruby Washington of Los Angeles, CA, great uncle, Tony D. Gray of Temple, Texas and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends too numerous to note but not forgotten.Pallbearers will be; Darrell Walker, Keith Adair, Ronald McDonald, De'Othoris Prince Hill IV, Kevin Hill, Jarritt Hill, Mark Webster and Michael Hamilton. Alternate pallbearers will be Clarence Hamilton and Eric Anderson.
