Mrs. Melva Dean Morrow, age 94, passed away Thursday, August 17, 2017 in Waco, Texas. Funeral service will be held Saturday, August 19, at 2:00 p.m. at Connally Compton with Chaplain Danny Tomlinson officiating. Interment will follow at Waco Memorial Park in Waco.Melva was born August 2, 1923 to Melvin and Vivian (Cooper) Mize in McGregor, Texas. She was a longtime resident of Waco and a homemaker. Melva married the love of her life, Woodrow W. Morrow in 1938. They lived in Waco all their lives. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Woodrow W. Morrow; son, Larry Morrow; grandson, Steven Hadley; four sisters and two brothers.Melva leaves behind to cherish her memories, daughter, Linda Hadley and husband, John of Waco; grandson, Chris Hadley and wife, LeAnn of Crawford; granddaughter, Lisa Nixon and husband, Shawn of Crawford; great-grandchildren, C.J.
