Mary E. (Brustrom) King, 91, passed away May 22, 2013, at a local nursing facility. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, May 25, at Robinson Cemetery, Wuebker addition. Visitation with the family will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 24, at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors.Mary was born in Hill County near Hubbard to Rosa Belle and Dave Brustrom on March 20, 1922. She attended Mount Calm Schools and was a longtime member of Downsville Baptist Church.She is preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow King; and daughter, Carolyn Statham.Survivors include daughters, Shirley King, Sandy Magg and Shirley Vaughn; sons, E.C. King, Oliver King and Jerry King; and several grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
