Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors Chapel with Father Lawrence Soler officiating. Burial will follow at Rosemound Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m., Monday, June 21, 2010 at the funeral home with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mary was born June 23, 1952 in Waco, Texas to Nacho Sr. and Elvira Fernandez Martinez. She married Gilbert G. Garza on July 27, 1974 in Waco, Texas. She was preceded in death by her father, Nacho Martinez Sr. Those left behind to cherish her memories are her loving husband of 35 years, Gilbert G. Garza; daughter, Ann Marie Garza and husband, Ismael Flores; son, Robert Garza Sr.; grandchildren, Zion Flores, Robert Garza Jr., Eliana Garza; mother, Elvira Martinez; sisters, Anita Cruz, Fay Martinez, Fidela Contreras, Freddie Rodriguez and husband, Ronnie; brothers, Nacho Martinez Jr. and wife, Mary, Mario Martinez and wife, Lupe, Steve Martinez and wife, Viola, Fernando Martinez and wife, Kaui, Danny Martinez and wife, Stella; and numerous other relatives and friends.
