Mary Coker, 80, of Waco, passed away on Friday, June 17, 2005 at a local nursing home. Graveside services will be at 10 am, on Tues., June 21, 2005 at the Robinson Cemetery with Bro. Harley Gordon officiating. Visitation with family and friends will be from 5 to 7 pm on Monday, June 20, at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors. Mary was born to William Frank Black, Sr. and Rosa Lee Fortune Black on Oct. 8, 1924 in Waco. She married Albert B. Coker on Feb. 25, 1946. Mary was a member of Beacon Hill Baptist Church. Mary loved being a homemaker and loving on her grandchildren. In years past she sold Avon and enjoyed meeting people that way. Preceding Mary in death were her parents; husband in 1977; and brother, William Frank Black, Jr.Surviving Mary are her sons, William Frank Coker of Mimbres, New Mexico and Johnny Albert Coker of Waco; daughter, Jimmie Sauer of Waco; 8 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
